mon-contrib software package provides contributed tools, monitors and alert for mon, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mon-contrib
mon-contrib is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mon-contrib package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mon-contrib *
You will get with mon-contrib package name, version, architecture and description in a table
